Every year, individuals set out a list of resolutions they want to work towards throughout the start and journey of navigating a fresh, new year. We hear resolutions ranging from the idea of eating healthier, cutting out certain habits and experiencing new things.

At Dentistry on 88, we have come up with a list of potential ideas that will shake things up throughout 2022. There is no doubt that the last two years have been difficult, to say the least, given the uncertainty and situations that have unfolded. That is no excuse! Start the year off right with positive practices and affirmations like the ones we have listed below!

  2. Work out to FEEL GOOD (not change your image)
  3. Practice Random Acts of Kindness
  4. Give one Compliment a Day!
  5. Read a book per MONTH!
  6. Go somewhere (in Ontario), you’ve NEVER been
  7. REDUCE YOUR WASTE (get rid of plastic water bottles….its 2022)
  8. Volunteer (never a better time)
  9. Start a Journal (Write one thing you’re grateful for a night)
  10. INVEST, INVEST, INVEST
  11. Call… INSTEAD OF TEXT
  12. Stop compulsive shopping… (this may be harder than it seems)
  13. Clean out your Car (Yes, we are talking to you)
  14. Take the Stairs
  15. Be Kind on Social Media
  16. Forget past grudges
  17. Stay in touch with people who MATTER
  18. Pick up a new hobby
  19. Start cooking (but still support small businesses)
  20. Donate those clothes you never wear
  21. Wear SUNSCREEN (SPF)
  22. Do something that scares you
  23. Make your bed every morning
  24. Go to bed on time (easier said than done)
  25. Pay it forward
  26. WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS & MANIFEST
  27. Drink more water
  28. Stop multi-tasking & FOCUS
  29. Treat yourself with Kindness
  30. Spend every day grateful for what you have and the life you’re living

Out of these 30 resolutions, choose five and practice them. There is no better time to be the best version of yourself. Start off 2022 with a bang!
