The long transition from Winter to Spring can take a toll on our mental health and even our bank accounts when looking to purchase a new spring wardrobe. Whether it be for yourself, your children, your significant other or maybe even a close friend, the following tips will help you feel your best when putting away your parka and grabbing your shorts and flip flops.

  • Bright Colours – What better way to enlighten your mood than to wear bright colours! Bright colours scream excitement and are a great way to switch into a spring-friendly style and colour palette.
  • White Clothing – We all know the rule of “No White After Labour Day”… Not anymore, it’s spring! White is the easiest colour to match with and a great way to use your existing pieces in your wardrobe. A white T-Shirt or even a white pair of Jeans will pair perfectly with both new and old pieces.
  • Bye Bye Knit Scarf, Hello Silk Scarf – Finally, we can put away our thick knit or wool scarfs. Revamp your style with a beautiful silk scarf, either worn as a pocket square, scarf, necktie, etc. It works perfectly for both day and night outfits! 
  • Layer Up – Instead of reaching for a thicker coat on a chilly spring day, layer, layer layer. Throw on a long-sleeved, plaid shirt or overshirt and a jean jacket for a complete look! A style that works well for people of all ages!
